Yesterday I wanted to go shopping, as I’m going to Italy in a couple of weeks and I needed a few things (next week I will make a Haul post of my shopping 😉 ) anyway, I decided to go to Whitecity, which is one of the biggest shopping centre in London and my first stop is always House of Fraser (I literally could spend hours there! most of my favourite makeup brands are just there) and as soon as I came in, they invited me to attend a Masterclass about the new Smoky Naked Palette from Urban Decay, so I though I would let you know all about it!
For those of you who have any of the previous palettes (Naked, Naked 2 or Naked 3) you will notice that the palette itself looks quite similar in terms of the number of shadows (12), the double head brush that comes with it and the inside mirror, but for those of you who never had one I will explain you in proper details what this palette is all about.
The first difference of this Palette (in compare with any of the previous ones) is that the packaging is magnet and the mirror inside is the biggest out of all the others.
In terms of the shadows, it has:
- 4 Shimmery shades.
- 4 Satin shades.
- 4 Matte shades.
Another difference of this palette is the brush, one of the heads is pointed creased, which is great for the underline eye.
Natalie (the makeup artist who was given us the masterclass) show us how to create a smoky look with the palette,
And she was explaining us through out the class some of the best Urban Decay products to re-create a Super hot Smoky look.
I love the palette, and if I wouldn’t have any of the other palettes this would probably be my favourite one as the colour range is amazing for a day or an evening look, but as I already have the number 1 and 3 I think I have most of the shades between both, therefore, I’m not that sure if it would be worthy…
But if you don’t have any I would definitely recommend you to get this one, in my opinion is the most complete one, I love the packaging of this one and the brush!
Let me know if you have it what is your opinion on it, do you think is worthy even if you have the 1 and 3? what are your thoughts on this one?
I ended up buying the Urban Decay 24/7 VELVET Glide-on Eye Pencil in black as she was using it for the look and I loved the way she used it to intensify the eyes!
Happy Sunday Beauties!
