More About Rosacea And Different Ways To Cure It

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Rosacea is a disease that normally attacks adults, mostly women between the age of 30 and 50 years. It is also known to many as Acne Rosacea; it is a relatively chronic skin disorder in which parts of the face including the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin are affected. The exact cause of this disorder is not well known. However, doctors say that it comes up as a result of the blood vessels in the face enlarging and in the process resulting in a flushed appearance. The flushed skin is also known to be more sensitive than the normal one. The symptoms of this disease appear on the face around the mouth and on cheeks. The redness of these parts is normally visible, considering that it is usually deeper than the skin disease. It has been noted that many people who suffer from this disorder tend to dismiss its symptoms as mere sunburn. This then leads to late treatment, something that makes it hard to deal with.

A Device That Creates Pure Drinking Water from Thin Air

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Pure drinking water is essential for men to live a healthy life. For eons, man has ceaselessly tried to purify water for drinking purposes. The earliest water purification systems were great at removing odors and improving the taste of water; regrettably this could not remove the microorganisms that caused most of the common diseases and epidemics. Progresses made in science and technology, gave mankind new and more effective water purification systems such as reverse osmosis, distillation and UV water filtration. While each of these methods was a vast improvement over the older methods, they shared a common disadvantage - they purify ground or surface water in order to produce pure drinking water. That brings us to an embarrassing question- How much of the toxic chemical wastes present in surface water can actually be removed by these water purification systems?
